Comprehensive Oral Exam
Our hygienists have all of the tools required to safely and effectively remove all of the plaque and tartar from your teeth. Your hygienist will then use an ultrasonic brush to remove residual tartar buildup, floss your teeth, and provide a fluoride treatment to protect your teeth against cavities. Once your teeth have been cleaned, our dentist will visually inspect your teeth. X-rays and an oral cancer screening are typically included in a routine oral exam.
Gum Disease & Grafting
Gum disease occurs when the gums become inflamed and infected due to poor oral hygiene. Gingivitis is the earliest stage of gum disease and is fully reversible with proper treatment and oral care. As gum disease is left untreated, it progresses to a more advanced form called periodontitis. Once patients arrive at this stage, the damage is no longer reversible and can only be halted. Gum grafts are performed to treat receded gums and improve your oral health.
Oral Cancer Screening
Oral cancer screenings are typically included in an oral exam. It only takes a couple of minutes to complete and is pain-free. Your dentist will examine your mouth for any abnormal tissues and lesions. Early detection and treatment can significantly increase your survival rate.
Root Canal
Root canals are performed to preserve a natural tooth. When tooth decay spreads to the nerves and roots of your teeth, it is only a matter of time before the tooth may need to be extracted. A root canal removes the decay and prevents an extraction from occurring. With modern technology, root canals are not painful.

Dental sealants are a great preventative measure as they smoothen the ridges and grooves of your teeth. The sealants are typically placed in the hard-to-reach areas of your mouth to prevent food particles from becoming trapped.

Tooth extractions can sometimes be necessary to improve your oral health. Our dentist will do everything to preserve your natural tooth, but an extraction is inevitable in some circumstances. For example, impacted wisdom teeth and severely decayed teeth are often removed as no other method can preserve your tooth.
